#OOTD. A Few Days Late. (RL Jacket and Bow)

Blazer-- Ralph Lauren (similar here), Shirt-- Crossroads, Pants-- Calvin Klein, Shoes-- Nordstrom, Watch-- Fossil, Gloves-- H&M

Do you like period pieces? This outfit reminds me of something that came out of the 1950's, or maybe it's just preppy and that always has a slight ring of vintage to it. At any rate, I usually don't (like period pieces) but for some reason this outfit makes me feel like I'm about to jump on a horse with my hunting dog by my side. 

That maybe all I need to do is add a riding hat and exchange my heels for riding boots and maybe lose the gloves, although on second thought, those might come in handy when trying to hold onto the reins of the horse, and of course tie my hair back into a chic bun at the nape of my neck  and I'll be magically taken away to a riding club circa 1950 with the wives of all the ad men. And i would hop on my horse and ride magically into the sunset. Or at least around the riding arena at the club. So maybe it's not that I don't like period pieces but that I actually do. Scratch this, but enjoy the outfit.
